"archinstall" how to mount partition without formatting it ?

I'm trying to install Arch using archinstall script and I think one step is unclear.

To access option to set a mount point, i have to click on this option: "mark/unmark to be formatted (wipes data)".
So is this option will wipes my data? But in this case, what the use of the "delete" option?
It's to bad this script is not much documented, idk if this make on purpose.
