I recently got a Framework Laptop 13 and I installed Arch on it. While setting up a smart lock, I found that my phone and my laptop can communicate over bluetooth and I can use my laptop as a bluetooth speaker for my phone! Even better, it supports phone calls so I can take calls without touching my phone (confirmed working). Or, at least, in theory.
I can use my laptop's speakers and microphone for the phone call since I have a bluetooth connection with my phone. However, when it rings, I can hear the ringtone on my laptop, but I can't pick up since there's no display that offers those buttons. What I'm looking for is a small app or commands that can be used to control my phone. For now, KDE Connect doesn't give me the option to just answer (without muting my system), so I use my watch to pick up the call. If there was a utility I could install or make that could tell my phone to pick up over bluetooth, that would be amazing.
I'm willing to make my own app, so if the command line is the way to go, I can polish it with a UI and put it on the AUR.
