Hey there!
Not sure if this is the right forum since this seems to affect any Linux distro, but hoping there is someone knowledgeable here
I am trying to install Arch Linux on my Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 laptop (Ryzen 3 7320U) but noticed that neither my keyboard nor touchpad are working.
They are working completely fine in Windows, BIOS and GRUB. I have disabled both safe boot and fast boot and updated my BIOS to the latest version and updated all my drivers.
I have also tried other distros running kernel 6.5 but to no avail.
I have tried mixing pretty much every i8042 kernel parameter, the only progress I have made WHATSOEVER is with
i8042.direct i8042.dumbkbd i8042.noloop i8042.nopnpWith these params my keyboard "works" but has an EXTREME input delay, from around 15 seconds to 1 minute per key press. i8042.dumbkbd only seems necessary to map my keys correctly, otherwise any key I press shows up as a comma.
Does anyone have any other suggestions I could try? Getting pretty desperate here ![]()
Thanks in advance ![]()
