I have just installed archlinux on vmware, and it's unbearably slow, even when not using the graphical interface.
I have installed manjaro linux on vmware before, and it seems not as slow as this. And the archlinux live environment is fast too.
I use linux-zen, and I encrypt the system according to the archlinux wiki, but I think it's not important as I also encrypt the system when I was using manjaro. For some reason, I cannot use 3d-acceleration.
So how can I solve the problem?

You have read https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VMware … as_a_guest ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Thank you very much. This post pointed out the problem. After I changed linux-zen to linux-lts, it became normal.
