Another thought. Run pacman with -v or --verbose which should output more status and error messages.

man...this bug driven me crazy...

i change my network card, my ram memory, even the hard disk, i changed. For what? for nothing...the error (package is corrupted) persists.

basically the problem happens when the package is too large (like the kde pkgs)...

before that anyone ask me:

yes, i do the pacman -Scc first

yes, i try to remove the "corrupted" package on /var/cache/pacman/pkg/foo.tar.gz


what is the reason for this? all arch sources are corrupted? please i need a lot help
