Since swapping to a Radeon 7800XT, I've had to connect 2 of my 3 monitors via DisplayPort->HDMI connections since the card only has a single HDMI port.
When starting up the PC, the graphics card uses the first DP output as the primary, which successfully wakes the monitor connected on DP-0.
When X11 starts, it successfully polls the EDID of the HDMI monitor and the previously awoken DP-0, but fails on DP-1 and reports it as disconnected. However, xrandr reports the correct information on all three monitors, regardless of power state.
xrandr output: https://0x0.st/HOE5.log
xorg log: https://0x0.st/HO6r.0.log
x11 config: https://0x0.st/HO6s.conf
If X is started while the monitor is on (not standby, not unpowered), it correctly polls the EDID and uses the monitor.
