Hello everyone! There is Arch KDE on Vmware. After a complete system update, I started experiencing audio and video stuttering in all players and browsers. Before the update everything worked well. I also did a clean install of Arch from KDE on Vmware and after updating the problem recurred. I didn't find anything unusual in the system logs. Therefore, I cannot understand which packages after the update are causing this problem.

Is one of your CPU cores at a 100% due to an scsi device? If you don't need it, disable the VM's cdrom drive or downgrade the kernel to pre 6.5 or read this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=288723

I removed the CD drive from the virtual machine configuration and that solved my problem. And the most interesting thing is that the DVD drive did not even turn on with the virtual machine. Regarding the CPU load. I don't know if it should be like this, but when watching a video in firefox with the disk drive already removed, one core is loaded at 100%. At the same time, there are no problems with stuttering or brakes. In any case, thank you very much for your help!!!
