networkmanager-fortisslvpn macros problem

I'm trying to install from AUR 

networkmanager-fortisslvpn 1.4.0-4

, and I receive the same issue with yay, makepkg and manual build

configure.ac:15: error: possibly undefined macro: dnl
      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.

It seems like a problem with my automake, so it is not  a responsibility of maintainer.
I have

automake 1.16.5-2

. 
How this could be fixed?

I was missing pkg-conf. That's it.

You'r system didn't fulfill the minumum requirements to build aur packages (and probably sttill doesn't) ..

Look at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_U … ng_started to figure out what you're missing .
