[CLOSED] Atheros QCA6174 ath10k failing with firmware crashes

I have a laptop and the wireless on it has been crashing for a couple of months now.

Initially I thought it might be a temporary issue and might be resolved in a kernel or firmware upgrade but it has not gone in a couple of months now.

It sounds like a hardware issue, either the device or the bus because I tried Windows and the card fails on Windows too.
