Support ASUS AMD Radeon 550 Phoenix

Hi!
Could I kindly ask about support of graphics card  ASUS AMD Radeon 550 Phoenix? Does it work as it should (correctly) at Arch, support hardware video acceleration? Does any driver's bug appear?
Does it support 165 Hz and 240 Hz  display frequency?
Thank you in advance

Re: Support ASUS AMD Radeon 550 Phoenix

You'll have to be more specific about the exact type and especially about the amount of video memory it has.

Search indicates that is a variant of the RX 550 card from the polaris 12 family .
That family is well supported, but the 550 is at the low end of it.

HW video acceleration : limited (like all polaris10 , 11 and 12 cards)

High refresh monitors : maybe at full HD resolution.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

If you want codecs, I heard that intel arc cards are cheap and that intel has good codec support.
research:
intel arc A380 ~150CHF, 6GB RAM

Else for the high refresh rates, don't expect to much at that price range.
But since you don't game, why do you need them? It'll run fine at 60fps without you realizing it.

Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
And to let my siblings and cousins laugh at Arsch Linux...

Re: Support ASUS AMD Radeon 550 Phoenix

The resolution used on your monitors is also important.

I use a factory overclocked RX 580 with 8 Gib memory. It performed great on a 1920x1200 60 Hz monitor, but struggles somewhat on my current 2540x1440 60 Hz monitor .

My future monitor has 2560x1440@144.

Whatch dynamic video. 60 Hz refresh rate does not enough, I think

intel arc A380
It is interesting card, I am going to seach for its charachteristics more detailed
