When using xrandr, this is what comes out if the monitor is set to 3840x1080:
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 3840 x 1080, maximum 32767 x 32767
HDMI-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-2 connected primary 3840x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 1193mm x 336mm
3840x1080 119.97*+ 239.97 59.97
5120x1440 239.76 120.00 59.98 Interstingly enough, when I set it to the monitor's native resolution, 5120x1440, this is what comes up:
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 5120 x 1440, maximum 32767 x 32767
HDMI-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DP-2 connected primary 5120x1440+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 1mm x 1mm
3840x1080 119.97 + 239.97 59.97
5120x1440 239.76* 120.00 59.98 This has been causing a very weird issue in my games, such as TF2:
To try and fix this, I have tried to create a 10-monitor.conf file with the modeline information, but that has not worked.
Since then I have been trying to either set the 5120x1440 as preferred or remove the 3840x1080 entirely, but nothing has helped so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Just an update to what I have been researching on my own.
Someone mentioned creating a custom EDID. While looking into this, another user on the forms requested to send the txt file from this command:
sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.stIn doing so, I got this.
I saw something in there when searching for 3840 about it being the resolution preferred, then being changed to 5120x1440. At least, that is what I think it is saying.
Am I going on the right track in fixing this dilemma?
