Installing Arch alongside Windows and Ubuntu

I have a disk partitioned like this. It has Windows on p3 and Ubuntu on p5.

nvme0n1     259:0    0 465,8G  0
├─nvme0n1p1 259:1    0   100M  0 vfat     /boot/efi
├─nvme0n1p2 259:2    0    16M  0
├─nvme0n1p3 259:3    0 104,2G  0 ntfs
├─nvme0n1p4 259:4    0   699M  0 ntfs
└─nvme0n1p5 259:5    0 277,8G  0 ext4     /

I'm not sure what the rest of themare, but there is a 90GiB free space not allocated (Not shown).

I would like to try out Arch there. I've been a Linux user for long but never installed Arch from scratch and want to give it a go.

My concerns are the following:

- Do I just need to set '/' on the 90Gib unallocated space in order to install? Will grub just add Arch to my OS list on startup? Do I have to read something first?
- I don't think I am using a swap partition, can't remember why but maybe its because I have enough memory (16 GB DDR4) so I was not required when originally installing Ubuntu.

Thank you.
There are some issues with Ubuntu that I can't resolve and I've heard people say how stable Arch can get. I know theres lots to study first and I attempt to follow the wiki guide, but I really like the process.

Easily doable, but always, always, always read the wiki. It's probably easiest to add Arch to Ubuntu's grub, but that's beyond the scope of this forum. Assuming they use os-prober or similar (haven't messed with Ubuntu for a very long time), it should be straight forward.

I haven't had clear answers and I am too afraid of fucking up my computer, which I use to work so I'm not even trying it.
