grub-mkconfig -o causes the creation of a coredump file entry

Hello Everyone,

I recently noticed that there are several coredump file entries for grub-mount listed when you run coredumpctl.   My system has been working fine so I just kept keeping an eye on the entries and soon realized every time grub-mkconfig -o is run another entry appears.  Does anyone know what this is?  There is no actual core file so I don't think I can get anymore information but I posted one of the entries below.  I did a quick search here and did not see anything thing about it and just wondering if anyone knows what this about.

I normally run the grub-mkconfig from with in an x enviroment I know you shouldn't do that and the next time the kernel updates I will try it in a tty and see if it still occurs but still hoping someone here has come across this before.

TIME PID UID GID SIG COREFILE EXE SIZE
Wed 2023-09-13 19:43:42 EDT 766591 0 0 SIGSEGV none /usr/bin/grub-mount -

Any information you have would be greatly apprecaited.

Thank you,
Jason C.
