[linux-hardened] Enable CONFIG_HIBERNATION

Hi,

I just tried to get hibernation working and came across https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/63648.
I would also be interested in CONFIG_HIBERNATION being enabled.

Of course I see the security implications of this on an unencrypted swap.
As mine is encrypted though, I don't worry all that much about that (or should I?)

Wouldn't setting the nohibernate cmdline parameter be enough instead of disabling CONFIG_HIBERNATION at compile time?

Hi, and welcome to the forums,
what do you expect from this request(?)? The Package Maintainer already made a stance...

Re: [linux-hardened] Enable CONFIG_HIBERNATION

Thanks,
and yes, sorry for the title, I originally thought I could respond to the bug report, but that does not seem possible as its closed.

This was not meant as an improper request to enable CONFIG_HIBERNATION.
Rather, the intend was asking for a more detailed explanation for why exactly disabling CONFIG_HIBERNATION is necessary given other alternatives (if there really are any).
