GTK dark theme issue

I am using dwm and gnome applications
After a update few days back i had the issue of dark theme not working in nautilus and other gtk applications which was solved by installing xdg-desktop-portal-gnome

but an update after that, i am having a issue that if i login first in dwm nautilus is in light theme,
i logout and login in gnome its dark theme is enabled and application including gnome settings app is light theme
logout again and log back in gnome everything is fixed dark theme work fine
then if i log in in dwm dark theme works there too

if without loggin in dwm i log in gnome after boot no issue in gnome but if i logout and login dwm same issue,
logout of dwm login twice in gnome and back to dwm issue is gone

what is causing this issue?

Turns out it is related to this issue:https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=289405

so as mentioned in this created a file ~/.config/xdg-desktop-portal/portals.conf and added

[preferred]
default=gtk

which fixed the issue for now

after another update the issue is back, even with the above mentioned file dark theme not working in neither gnome nor dwm
