I use Pipewire 0.3.81 and FluidSynth 2.3.4. As of recently (a couple weeks ago), both Brave and Vivaldi stopped outputting MIDI signal. The FluidSynth port still shows up in the MIDI output list, and other software (e.g. aplaymidi) is able to play MIDI files through the synth. MIDI input still works fine in both browsers, and Firefox outputs MIDI just fine. Updating to the latest version and rebooting did not fix the issue. I would appreciate any pointers, since I found nothing on the Internet about this problem.

Just a heads up.. I have the same problem. Firefox works. Did you open a bug in the Chromium arch package?

No, I have not, feel free to do so. Glad I'm not the only one with that problem.

It's now being worked on at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is … id=1499631
As a workaround, switching to an LTS kernel worked for me just fine.
