sddm only display on latop built-in screen

I'm using my laptop(Nvidia GPU) with a second HDMI monitor.
I always using my laptop without built in monitor, but every time display sddm login screen it only display on laptop built in monitor not the second monitor.

How can I make sddm display on both monitor or HDMI monitor?

are you using the same backend for sddm and your session (where i assume both screens works)?

here sddm runs on x11, which shows on all monitors. But if i start a session on wayland i only get the integrated monitor.

Assuming this is on X11, /usr/share/sddm/scripts/Xsetup and please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General

You can also use an X11 configlet to control which outputs are enabled by default, but let's first see the xorg log in case eg. this is an optimus system.

and the HDMI is attached to the nvidia GPU that you run modesetting on top of nouveau.
