I've never been unable to boot from an Arch ISO until now.
The machine is a new Gigabyte storage server (Model #R282-NO0-00). When I try to boot the 2023.10.14 Arch ISO on this machine it hangs here:
:: running early hook [archiso_pxe_nbd]
:: running hook [udev]
:: Triggering uevents ...
This if I use a USB stick or try to boot from the ISO file mounted over the network. The same USB stick boots on a Dell desktop I have lying around with no problems, so I don't think it's a problem with the ISO. Just to confirm, I downloaded the 2023.10.14 ISO again from a different server, and they have the same md5 checksum.
The 2023.02.01 Arch ISO boots fine with no errors. Any thoughts on what could be going on here or how I can try to debug it?
