Hi there, I succesfully installed Arch Linux, after rebooting I had the following

myuser login:

I'm guessing it wants me to login, but i can't due to not having an account yet wink

What should I do? thanks.

Login as root, set up your user account, log out, log in as user.

make that:
Login as root, change your root passwd, set up your user account, log out, log in as user.

Unless, of course, the new installer forces you to set a root passwd (does it?)

The automatic password thing has been a mystery to all of us for quite some time now. We're not sure but we think its the hash gremmlins of the wicked west (they're the ones responsible for the dust caked on your CPU (sons of bitches))

Hashbrowns.  Mmmm.

I don't think I ever experienced this particular issue - maybe I've always been obedient and have always created a root password, assuming that the installer wouldn't let me go on if I didn't.  Not sure really.
