[SOLVED] Systemd-remount-fs service fails after system reinstall

I have recently noticed after an issue configuring unified kernel images for secure boot where systemd-remount-fs.service  fails with:

Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd[1]: Starting Remount Root and Kernel File Systems...
Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd-remount-fs[1135]: mount: /: mount point not mounted or bad option.
Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd-remount-fs[1135]: dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.
Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd-remount-fs[1133]: /usr/bin/mount for / exited with exit status 32.
Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd[1]: systemd-remount-fs.service: Main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd[1]: systemd-remount-fs.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
Oct 19 14:54:50 archlinux systemd[1]: Failed to start Remount Root and Kernel File Systems.

I haven't managed to get it working.
It doesn't seem like it's causing any issues for now, but I would prefer not to leave the system in a degraded state, any help would be greatly appreciated! smile
