[SOLVED] Most steam games wont launch with proton

Recently been having issues with launching games on steam. Everythings been working fine up until today. Tried to launch Doom Eternal and found it crashed instantly.  Other games that wont launch include Splitgate and Project Wingman. Im able to launch Descenders and SEUM with no issues. Gpu  is rx580 and cpu is r7 2700x

If you hammered enter during the initial steam install you will have installed amdvlk which dropped support for rx580 in the current release.

Luckily radeon-vulkan is generally better anyway and still supports your GPU. So install vulkan-radeon and lib32-vulkan-radeon and remove lib32-amdvlk and amdvlk.
