T470s (2 batteries): discharge treshold or battery switch

Hello,
I am running a Thinkpad T470s with 2 batteries. Screenfetch:
OS: Arch Linux
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 6.5.8-arch1-1
Uptime: 2h 24m
Packages: 920
Shell: bash 5.2.15
Resolution: No X Server
DE: GNOME 45.1
WM: Mutter
WM Theme:
GTK Theme: Adwaita-dark [GTK2/3]
Icon Theme: Adwaita
Font: Cantarell 11
Disk: 32G / 477G (7%)
CPU: Intel Core i5-7300U @ 4x 3.5GHz [63.0°C]
GPU: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 620 (rev 02)
RAM: 4040MiB / 15873MiB

Problem:
One battery is discharged completely before the next battery is discharged. This also results in a total "power off". This is for obvious reasons unpleasant for me and my batteries.

What I read/tried
According to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=285739 T480 discharges the battery with lowest use cycle count. According to my experience (and some non-arch forum entires) this also applies to my T470s. Apparently this behavior cannot be changed and I am fine with that. However, I would still like to set a discharge threshold to avoid a hard power off and for better battery care. Or at least the option to switch to the next battery when the first gets low.

I also tried TLP, however it to my knowledge only provides charge thresholds. For the purpose of this issue and post I reinstalled the tlp package afresh. I can post lines from tlp-stat if necessary.

I could not find another answered/solved Forum post about this.
