After installing the new Nvidia driver, this message appears in the log.
Should I be worried?

No, why?
That message is perfectly normal and has been there ever since (w/ shifting version numbers, oc)

This message was otherwise not displayed on the start page of "gnome.logs". That's why I was a bit irritated.
Thank you

No idea about gnome.logs (or what that is), but it's in dmesg forever.
Either you only just installed/use the nvidia driver or gnome.logs only now picks it up.
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

The new version probably uses the "wrong" kernel message macro and that's also why it's now showing up in whatever gnome.logs is - seems a bug, but only causing noise.
