problem with latest update

hello i am unable to proceed with the latest update. the error message

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing knewstuff5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'knewstuff' required by dolphin-root
:: installing kcmutils5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kcmutils' required by dolphin-root
:: installing kparts5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kparts' required by dolphin-root
:: installing kactivities5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kactivities' required by dolphin-root
 -> error installing repo packages

is there any way to proceed with the update without  first uninstalling dolphin-root?

Rebuild dolphin-root with the new dependencies using a clean chroot, stick it in a local repo, and install it with the rest of the system updates.

Or, y'know, stop running file managers as root in the first place.
