Discover currently cannot be used to install any apps or

Hi Everyone,

I just installed Arch with KDE Plasma, which so far looks good.

However, I have opened Discover, and I have been prompted with the following;

Discover currently cannot be used to install any apps or perform system updates because none of its app backends are available.

This leads to 2 questions, if I may;

1. What is the easiest way (using terminal if allowed) to install optional dependancies, and

2. Is there other Software centres which can be recommended.

Thank you in advance,
Michael

Re: Discover currently cannot be used to install any apps or

Hi smile

I'm going to answer 2 before 1: see the warning in the relevant Wiki section, no graphical software center can be recommended, as they hide crucial information pacman would provide you when installing or updating packages.
For 1, pacman handles installing packages and can be told to mark them as a dependency.

I'm french, sorry for any mistakes in english.
