After recent update (2.1.0-2) auto-cpufreq stopped working

Have you tried reporting this to the AUR packager? Looking at the error message it looks like a packaging issue.

There is some kind of bug in the AUR indeed, but uninstalling auto-cpufreq and building it again did help for now.
