Having trouble applying a kernel patch to iwlwifi

My intel ax201 wireless chip is not playing nicely with LAR and routinely disables 5ghz bands when it sets itself to an incorrect regulatory domain, leaving me only with slower 2.4ghz bands to use.
It seems to be a known issue with intel wifi chips, after the "lar_disable" parameter was taken out of iwlwifi around kernel ~5.3.
There seems to be a patch in AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/iwlw … sable-dkms to re-enable this setting, however I cannot figure out how to properly apply it.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you

Re: Having trouble applying a kernel patch to iwlwifi

The AUR package provides a patched iwlwifi via DKMS, you could just adjust the kernel version to 6.6.4
