GNOME Night Light is broken, even after applying color profiles

I've had this issue with GNOME Night Light (specifically that, as KDE's Night Light and Gammastep work) for a couple of months now. I've looked through forums and tried the following:

- Enabling color profiles: sRGB profile, no results
- Trying fbdev=1 on the kernel commandline: no results
- Booting a live USB of Fedora (39) to see if the problem persists: This actually works, so I know it's not a hardware issue.
- Switching between mutter and mutter-dynamic-buffering (AUR): This issue persists.

I'm not quite sure what to do here or even how to start troubleshooting. Both gnome-shell and gdm have this issue, as the way I've been working around this solution involves starting KDE Plasma, enabling Night Light, then logging out and starting gnome-shell.

Machine: iMac, 4K Retina (Mid-2017)
CPU: Intel i5-7400
GPU: AMD Radeon Pro 555
gnome-shell version: 45.2
gdm version: 45.0.1
