Arch defaults to dGPU, refuses to switch to iGPU.

Hi. I use a macbook pro mid 2015, which allows you to switch between the dGPU (amd radeon r9 m370x) and the igpu (intel crystal well). I am trying to only use the iGPU, as the dGPU will be passed onto a kvm. However, after disabling the 'radeon' and 'amdgpu' kernel modules, arch only displays for aproximately 30 seconds, before displaying nothing. I figured disabling those modules would fore arch to use the igpu, however it still refuses. Is anyone aware of a way to force arch and xorg to use the igpu? I will provide any required information upon request. Thank you!

Does the display remain if you only boot the multi-user.target (2nd link below)?
Please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General
What is your graphical target? Do you autologin to a session? You might simply actively switch to some reverse prime config there.

If you want to use the discrete card for passthrough attach the device to the vfio-pci stub driver to prevent it being used in the host:
