I have some observation and want to share them with other. Just to confirm if anybody else noticed this issue.
Here what happened:
I have a ArchLinux as host system.
Here I installed VirtualBox. I also installed new instance of Windows 7 as guest.
Since all was new, I also installed Guest Additions.
And the latest is VBoxGuestAdditions_7.0.12.iso ( http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/7.0.12/).
Whatever I tried I could not set a shared folder. So I went back to my old machine where I had another windows 7 with 7.0.6. Sharing worked perfectly. I performed there and upgrade to 7.0.12 and then sharing stopped working.
After all of this I created new virtual machine with Windows and this time only with VBoxGuestAdditions_7.0.6.iso , which I had somewhere on my disk.
All works perfectly.
Does anybody had the same issue?
I have not adjusted anything on my disk (like changing authorizations). The only difference is Guest Additions.
