Is there a way to know whether Wayland uses bgm or egl?

The gpu is NVIDIA and os is GNOME.
According to the wiki(wayland), it seems to use GBM by default.
I set the settings below, so it seems like I'm using GBM of course.

GBM_BACKEND=nvidia-drm
__GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia

I want to try using EGL Steam. Is there a way?
and how to know wayland use EGS stream or BGM?

gnome start with x11 mode.

Sorry if this is obvious - but did you also remove / unset the other variables? And did you then reboot or fully restart GDM (and are using GDM display manager)?

Of course, everything was done according to the wiki settings. Nevertheless, an error occurs.
Nvidia performance is so low especially in games ,
I will have to use it in x11 mode.
