moc has disappeared?

https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/moc/ states "moc 1:2.5.2-8 has been removed from the [extra] repository." .
Maybe you can switch to aur https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/moc-pulse ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
