edited: solved it by doing a refresh. must have been a font setting or something in about config
HI all, I use Gnome, Wayland, Nvidia, Firefox-nightly (tho problem same in regular firefox) and I have a dark mode active, a Gtk theme that is dark and a bunch of css that I did in older gtk versions, and I have set up XDG desktop portal gnome and gtk (though, when I enable this in about:config it seems not to be working.. .is that the issue)
Anyway, try as I might doing some things I found on old forum posts and wiki pages, I cannot get the checkbox style and some input boxes to change. They just appear as black boxes

is there a firefox chrome css or about:config to do with gtk I can edit to change this? it seems to stay around even if I change the colors in firefox or the gtk themes to something else, even a light theme. I tried deleting all the old css files I had in the gtk in my home dir but that didn't change anything.

There's a "refresh firefox" that resets all the settings
It appears to be caused by dmabufs
