I have a system with Pipewire installed. When using Pipewire-Media-Session as the manager I can use pavucontrol and successfully passthrough audio streams. When I install Wireplumber I lose the ability to passthrough audio. Per the Pipewire/Wireplumber wiki pages I created an /etc/wireplumber directory, copied the policy.lua.d/10-default-policy.lua file to /etc/wireplumber/policy.lua.d directory, and modified the value as shown below.
tried:
["audio.no-dsp"] = false
Set to true to disable channel splitting & merging on nodes and enable passthrough of audio in the same format as the format of the device. Note that this breaks JACK support; it is generally not recommended.
Now I have no sound. I can replace Wireplumber with Pipewire-Media-Session but would like to find a way to run Wireplumber and successfully passthrough audio.
