[SLVD]Have basic fonts installed and MS ones - still get awkward chars

I'm using FF and still get some English websites showing junk characters. For example - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I read Arch wiki for fonts, but there are so many listed there, not sure which one to choose.
I have noto fonts, noto emoji and MS fonts installed. I thought MS would be helpful (sans serif) but no.

Can anyone say what are the most used fonts for the web?

some English websites showing junk characters. For example - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1. screenshot might be helpful as well as linking the actual url
2. "ツ" is NOT an "english" character but "japanese" - you'll need some font w/ cjk coverage - edit: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsu_(Kana)
3:

fc-list :charset=30c4

Thanks!

I installed noto-fonts-cjk and fixed this immediately. Who would have thought it was Japanese! big_smile
