I update my system pretty much daily, and this is my 2nd Dell XPS 15, this one I've had about 4 months, no issue, previous one I had since 2018.
I'm just getting no love from left channel and I don't what else to do beyond running pavucontrol etc.
Pavucontrol would indicate both channels are working, but the left channel is out, at the io4 interface (proven with headphones).
The io4 runs into my stereo, which is able to play records etc. just fine.
So how do I troubleshoot if the system seems to say both channels are working but clearly one is not??
Maybe my io4 is dead but I just don't know how to find the prob.
