Second monitor scaling issue

Hello guys, I recently installed Gnome 45 and have been having an issue with my second monitor display.

For some reason, in my display settings, I do not have the correct display resolution of my monitor. I have tested this monitor on another PC (windows 11) and the resolution is not an issue.

I have done some Googling but haven't really been able to find something that points me in the right direction, currently no matter the program i drag onto the second monitor it gets 2x bigger. I have also confirmed that there isn't any scaling going on in the Display Settings for my second monitor.

Any thoughts?

Re: Second monitor scaling issue

So, the second monitor is using Display Port instead of HDMI. I plugged the Display Port cable into my main monitor and it did seem to scale programs and the UI up. Is there a package I need to install for Display Port or some different settings I need to change?

Re: Second monitor scaling issue

I was able to resolve my issue by following this guide on the wiki and enabling this

gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features "['scale-monitor-framebuffer']"

After restarting and going back to my monitor display settings, I could see the correct resolution.
