Toshiba Portege Z10-A Touchpad Not Working - Seeking Assistance

I hope this message finds you well. I am encountering an issue with the touchpad on my Toshiba Portege Z10-A running Arch Linux. While the external mouse and touch screen are functioning correctly, the touchpad is unresponsive.

Here are some key details:

Laptop Model: Toshiba Portege Z10-A
Issue: Touchpad not working
Observations: External mouse and touch screen are working fine.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Verified that the xf86-input-libinput and xf86-input-synaptics packages are installed and properly configured.
Checked for touchpad-related entries using xinput list and xinput list-props.
Examined Xorg logs for any errors or warnings related to the touchpad.
Attempted to use both libinput and synaptics drivers.
Verified that the touchpad is enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
Despite these efforts, the touchpad remains unresponsive.

If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has insights into troubleshooting this problem, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. Please share any suggestions, relevant configurations, or possible solutions that could help resolve this touchpad issue on my Toshiba Portege Z10-A.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Post your journal

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

and your xorg log as well as those xinput outputs. either by uploading them to 0x0.st as with the journal example or adding them wrapped in BBcode code tags

Which graphical environment are you running? Some of them will disable a touchpad when a mouse is connected via settings and might even misdetect the touchscreen as a mouse and as such opt for that by default.
