EDIT:
[SOLVED]
It's a simple matter of copying the corresponding screensaver files from an already installed system with mate-screensaver-hacks into the newly installed system without mate-screensaver-hacks.
Did that in a VirtualBox VM install of Arch linux, and it works just fine.
Copy the screensaver you want (Hypertorus, in my case) from-to:
/usr/share/applications/screensavers

As the title suggests, the mate-screensaver-hacks package is no longer available in AUR.
While I still have it installed on 2 of my Desktop PCs, I wish I could install it on future installs of Arch Linux. Unfortunately, that is no longer a possibility...
Thus my question is this:
Is there any other package (or any other way for that matter) that would enable me to have a complete mate-scrensaver experience, with all the fancy 3D screensavers, such as my favorite, Hypertorus?
Or at least a way to manually copy/paste said Hypertorus screensaver into the screensavers folder?

FYI, "deleted" AUR packages are technically only archived. you can still clone the repo as it mentions on the old page.
