Game crashing on launch (Steam)

I'm still pretty new to Linux in general, but I've been toying with trying to move away from Windows for a few weeks now and tried a few distros, but ultimately, I really like Arch because it's minimalist and can be built exactly how I want it.
However, I am having a big issue with Guild Wars 2.  The whole computer freezes when it's about to load the logon screen.  I've not had this issue on other distros.  Including Endeavour OS.  I can run other Steam games fine (Deep Rock Galactic).  How do I go about diagnosing this issue as the whole computer freezes and my only option is to reset?
