[SOLVED] How to fix "Couldn't open /dev/input/event" for StepMania?

I have just installed StepMania, but when I start it I get the below errors.

It looks like the game pad is detected, but nothing happens when I press any of the buttons.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I am using Wayland+Sway.

Interesting. So a udev rule have to be made for the gamepad?

Afaict 0079:0011 is not covered by the game-devices-udev AUR package, so you'll have to add a rule, yes.
You can look at https://codeberg.org/fabiscafe/game-devices-udev for a pattern and if it works, maybe share it w/ the project.

Ok, I can see I am not smart enough to figure the udev stuff out. So I did

yay -S game-devices-udev
sudo usermod -a -G input a
reboot

which seams to work smile
