Using yay as my helper. Installed a list of my preferred applications with no problems; however cannot seem to get Filebot installed. Starts off okay and starts compiling, but every time it reaches around 35% the process stalls, xfce clock stops and Arch appears to have crashed. There is some random staccato movement of the mouse pointer, very slow and unresponsive. Has anyone else had any experience with this problem? BTW I have a Ryzen 5600G processor with 32meg of 3200 RAM and a 250gb Samsung 850 evo ssd, so didn’t really expect this scenario.

Please post outputs while doing the "manual" way: 2.4 and 2.5 of https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_U … g_packages
Anyway, looking at filebot PKGBUILD seems there's no compilation involved at all...

Did try again using the suggested method but the same result exactly. Seems to revolve around something called gradle or similar. Tried to publish a screenshot of the frozen screen, but didn’t seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Solved the problem - installed the flatpak.
