Zoom annotation causing screen to blur (To the point it is unreadable)

I'm not sure if this is an arch issue, Zoom issue, or maybe an inbuilt security feature - but whenever I am sharing my screen on a Zoom call and another participant uses the annotate functionality to draw on my screen, my entire screen goes blurry for both of us. Does anyone know if this is an inbuilt security feature that can be disabled? Or is it likely this is a bug I need to raise with zoom?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Don't know, don't generally use zoom.   You might tell us what Desktop Environment you are using, and whether it is Xorg or Wayland.

Re: Zoom annotation causing screen to blur (To the point it is unreadable)

I have the same issue!
I use the Hyprland compositor (Wayland). I'm assuming that there's some sort of setting I need to edit in the config file (~/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf), as there seems to be a global decoration configuration with the blur parameter enabled.

decoration {
    rounding = 9
    blur {
        enabled = true
        size = 6
        passes = 2
    }
    ...
}

Is there a way of setting an exception for the Zoom annotation window?
