[Abandoned] Headsets mic is just distorted audio

After connecting to my headset and choosing the HSP/HFP profile with CVSD as the codec, it seems that I get audio from my mic, but it sounds pixelated and distorted. This is the output of dmesg.

$ dmesg
[  735.253899] Bluetooth: hci0: corrupted SCO packet

And the same error repeats so I am not going to post the entire dmesg. If I try using the mSBC codec, there isn't even audio coming from my mic. Using pipewire-pulse and pipewire.
