how to edit grub timeout settings

Hi,
just installed latest arch on converted chromebook with UEFI bios (coreboot),
the setup automatically created /boot partition for EFI
everything works but I dont have /etc/default/grub so don't know how to reduce timeout to 1 second to speed up the boot process. i will not be having any dual boot setup and don't need grub menu..
thanks

thanks, but grub-mkconfig does not exist (the command). also, update-grub does not exist.
also, pacman -S update-grub or grub-mkconfig does not work
i have to investigate and duck duck google each package I want to install...other distributions are more straightforward..

edit2: it seems i am using systemd-boot and not grub. oops smile
