[solved] encryption font/prompt size

About 2 months ago I booted up my pc and saw that the size of both plymouth encryption prompt and console output font size were a lot bigger than they were previously. I thought it might be something related to an update but I couldn't pinpoint out the culprit. It seems that's not something related to the resolution (mine is 3440x1440) because the displayed elements are somehow sharp.

Can I bring that back to a smaller scale?

Re: [solved] encryption font/prompt size

Edit /etc/default/plymouth.d
Add this line:

DeviceScale=1

Rebuild your initramfs.

Re: [solved] encryption font/prompt size

I love you, random citizen, that was it!

/etc/plymouth/plymouthd.conf
[Daemon]
DeviceScale=1

So plymouth really changed the default value of that parameter with some update.
Thank you so much!
