Hey hey people,
I'm new to this whole Arch thing and hope someone can help me.
I installed Hyprland and everything worked quite well until I decided to install SDDM. I installed it with pacman, configured it to the best of my ability and enabled and started it with systemctl.
Now what happens when I start my PC is that I immediately, without seeing any login screen or anything, get taken to the Hyprland Desktop, my wallpaper manager does not work and it shows the default hyperland backgrounds, though waybar seems to function, which is weird because both should be started when launching Hyprland with exec-once. Also when I try to open a terminal it instantly closes, making it unusable.
Here is my /etc/sddm.conf:

[Wayland]
CompositorCommand="Hyprland"
[Autologin]
User=His_Holiness
Session=Hyprland

Oh, and in case it matters, I have nvidia drivers installed, with all the modprobe and nvidia-drm etc. settings, as it says on the Arch wiki, and I use fish.

It's been years since I used SDDM, and I don't use neither Hyprland nor Wayland, but:
It looks like it's working exactly as configured:
- You are automatically logged in into Hyprland as His_Holiness as specified in the [Autologin] part of the config, and you're starting it via the "Hyprland" command.
The Archwiki indicated that it's not recommended using a login manager: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Hyprland#Starting
But it also claims that some people got it working with SDDM. So maybe ask on the Hyprland support channels until someone else chimes in here.
One thing to try to see where the error lies is: What does your Hyprland session look like if you launch it from a TTY with just "Hyprland" and no further options?

I may not have explained it correctly, when launching from tty hyprland works flawlessly, I've had i for a week or so already and have set up most things without problems. Hard to say what exactly is different on the SDDM Hyprland, because the terminal doesn't work there.

Do you launch it from TTY without options as well? Just "Hyprland" and that's it?
