[SOLVED] Terminal freezes and loses color when I attempt to paste
So recently, I installed Arch (previously, I had Ubuntu), and I encountered this weird bug where sometimes when I try to paste something into the terminal, it freezes and slowly starts to lose color, like here: https://imgur.com/a/CQ7zKNq. I use Alacritty as my terminal emulator, fish as my shell, and always start in tmux whenever I open my terminal. I am still a newbie so I'm unsure where to find logs if I need to post them.

It probably fades out to indicate that the window owning process stopped responding.
1. Does it happen w/o tmux?
2. Does it happen w/ "alacritty -e bash"?
3. What's your DE, more specifically: wayland or X11?

I use KDE Wayland. The issue doesn't occur in TMUX because I've attempted pasting in a non-TMUX session, and it still freezes. I've installed wl-clipboard and since then, I haven't encountered the issue. Another bug was that CTRL+SHIFT+C within Neovim didn't copy to the clipboard, it only yanked, but wl-clipboard fixed that.

Yeah, wayland still struggles with the clipboard…
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
