[SOLVED] SDDM: Blanking user avatar

I'm trying to set my own png file for sddm, but the application keeps blanking my avatar to an "?/unknown" file extension. In the past, I used to be able to place my PNG into

/usr/share/sddm/faces

but as of now, it isn't being read for some reason. Did something happen to the way this program is configured?

EDIT: The program was indeed changed. It wasn't like that originally. I had to follow the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Access … ts#Set_ACL
