Sometimes ~25% of the time when I try to wake my computer up from suspend, it won't wake up the monitors. The fans do start spinning, the powerled/fanleds/keyboard do light up opposed to blinking but monitors keep saying they don't detect anything. This wasn't always the case and it started happening around 1/10/24 of this year if not earlier.
I tried ctrl+alt+f2 to switch but nothing happens, so I hold powerbutton and force it off. Are there any logs I can look into?
Specs:
kernel:6.7.6
mobo: asus b350m-e
amd rx 580
ryzen 5 5600x
i3 window manager
using amd open source drivers in the kernel
I have a tripple monitor setup, 1080p(viewsonic), 4k(dell) and 1080p(dell) from different brands/models.

* Try the LTS kernel
* see whether you can reboot from there, in doubt w/ the https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Keyboa … el_(SysRq)
* or ssh into the system, or switch the VT, …
* check the system journal ("sudo journalctl -b", "…-b -1" for that of the previous boot - it'll not be preserved if you reboot w/ the power button)
See eg. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=293216 - there're currently a lot of S2/3/4 related issues, most likely revolving amdgpu

Switching vt is unresponsive still. I will try to check the system journal logs next time this comes up. I can understand laptops having issues with sleep but desktops too, ugh

The system most likely wakes up but doesn't provide you w/ a framebuffer driver - in that case, being prepared to ssh into the system might be very beneficial.
If you (have to) reboot w/ the power button, the journal covering the failure cannot be preserved.
